Why is there a charge for $2.95 when I signed up for the trial membership?
If you don’t cancel your $2.95 trial membership within the 14-day trial period, you will be charged a membership fee for each month that you continue the membership. The reason you were charged was because you elected not to cancel your membership before the trial period ended. We try to make our billing policies as clear as possible, and alerted you of our recurring membership policy before and after you initially signed up for a $2.95 trial membership.

If you do not recall purchasing our service, you may want to ask other people who have access to your credit card. We’ve found that 95% of the time the confusion arises from someone else signing up for the product.
How do I cancel my membership?
To cancel your membership, login to ResumeGenius.com and click on “My Account”. Next, click on “Plan Information”. You will then see a button called “Cancel Account”. Instructions are also contained in the email sales receipt provided upon sign up.
Is this a scam?
No, this is not a scam. We go to great lengths to include membership disclosures on our website and via email. We also ask that our customers agree to our terms and conditions before the transaction can be completed to further ensure the customers understand the agreement.
If you received a charge on your billing statement, it was because you elected not to cancel your membership before the 14-day trial expired. This style of membership offer is fairly common and is being used online by video game companies, movie and music providers, and even other credit monitoring companies.
